AlphaNET as a procurement-tool

AlphaNET speeds up your sales activities in offering your procurement optimal support to get firm quotes on off-net capacities very fast, to manage the actual acquisition and to manage the running contracts. Rely upon a sophisticated vendor management with interconnections, on-net-lists, product-to-product-mappings, contracts and much more. AlphaNET is highly adaptable Software that seamlessly integrates in your IT landscape.

How it works

Sales can initiate price evaluations. Procurement takes over, is supported by own and third party on-net checks including budgetary price lists. In the next step procurement defines the POP / Colocation for the handover of the signal and forwards a request for quotation to dedicated vendors who are invited to offer by automatically generated emails. Each email contains a unique link to the vendor portal of AlphaNET where the vendors submit their quotations. All figures are directly stored in the database and a notification is sent to sales and/or procurement.

 

Once a supplier is selected, the internal purchasing process is kicked off in the PO Management module. When the PO has been approved the service is passed on to the Life Cycle Management where it is tied into the appropriate contract or Master Service Agreement managed in the Contract Management. Of course reminders are sent when contracts or services come to an end of their term so you don't forget to re-negotiate better prices.

The process 

Offer your customers different ways to place an RFQ: Through the online customer portal or directly into AlphaNET via the M2M interface with existing customers. Let your customer select the POP / colocations for the transfer of the signal. If you want to offer budgetary prices you can display them right after the request with the help of the on-net-check. On firm offer request AlphaNET supports you with feasibility checks and enables you to deliver a quote based on reliable numbers. Inform your customers about your quote directly out of AlphaNET via e-mail or the M2M interface. Never lose the overview on what price you offered to whom – available to all internals.

The moment a customer wants to order he can do so over the online customer portal or the M2M interface. AlphaNET creates the legal contracts in the system and the PDFs. The customer downloads the directly. The signed and scanned contracts can be uploaded. Now the needed data are handed over to the service delivery and the billing. From now on the life cycle management takes over that helps you with the price history and the change management.
